Our passion is to help musicians make beautiful sounding recordings.
All rates include an engineer.
The studio, at 600 Square Feet has ample space for up to a 10 piece band.
It also has ample parking, a toilet and a kitchen area
for the welcome tea and coffee breaks.
There is a pub next door too - with accommodation.
IN THE STUDIO
Bring your ideas and talent into the studio and we will record you using some of the world's finest microphones and state of the art digital desks with A class pre-amps. Whilst the playing experience is essentially that of a live room, we take each performance in one or two takes live, then take patch sections to rectify any parts you may not be completely happy with. These are later spliced into place seamlessly. This creates the natural feel of a beautiful live performance.
PIANO
MIXING and MASTERING
We then mix and master your multi track recordings using time honoured methods and the latest digital techniques, using Logic X, Vector 3 and Waveburner.
PRODUCTION
Our Yamaha G1 Baby Grand piano has been featured on many recordings, whether taking centre stage, as in Hugh Ledigo's album "Jazz at an Exhibition", or accompanying classical recitalists. It even does a fine job of evoking the Blue Note albums of the 1950s
We consider ourselves a "One Stop Shop" as we have the capability of writing, performing, recording, mixing and mastering your recordings. We can also help in producing the artwork, if required. We then send the whole package off to be manufactured at the production plant.
