Magnificent 7 - The Good, the Bad and The Ugly BSCD040

"Top Banana", every number has a different feel, tempo - and it all swings. Great sound and balance produced by Peter Rudeforth. Well done chaps!

Tuxedo Jazz Orchestra - White Heat BSCD038

A perfect example of all the qualities that have gone into making this CD such a pleasure to listen to: top quality songs, fresh imaginative arrangements, engaging vocals and above all the feeling that you are listening to a group of musicians who believe in and love the music they are presenting. Highly Recommended.

Re the CD: I keep listening to it and marvel at how good it is...astonishing. I don't want to worry you but I'm looking forward to doing another recording with the band - AND - a session with just myself and Jim Barry. So, be prepared!

Jackie Free's Chicagoans - Strike up the band BSCD039

This is a well-established UK band that knows about playing Trad.... I have to single out John Crocker (Clarinet and Tenor Saxophone) and Peter Rudeforth (Trumpet) who play some fine solos on this album. Strike up the band provides a good album title, and Peter Rudeforth's flugelhorn solo on 'Misty' I like a lot.
